I never realized how hard it was to get a simple salad with no sugary/dairy additions until I searched my area trying to get specific toppings. Every salad nowadays has feta (or some type of cheese), cranberries, corn, quinoa, avocado, bacon, etc....and hardly any of these places have a 'make your own' option. The salad I got was suuuper simple: arugula, romaine, roasted cauliflower, jicama, cucumbers, chicken, jalapenos, and a sprinkle of extra virgin olive oil. Because of certain health issues I am only allowed to eat specific foods. I have to restrict sugars which means no fruit or carrots. I am not allowed to have any carbs. This place was PERFECT because they allowed me to pick exactly what I needed and it was a pretty large salad 🙂

The salad options here are superior. The specialty salad combinations that they have created are clever combinations. I tried the Chi-Cobb-O and next time I'll get the Falafel-osophy. You can create your own and the options are plenty. They also have non-salad bowl options. Great place for someone with dietary restrictions. And it's counter service so it's quick!

They source good local ingredients and change up their options seasonally. The fiesta Fresca is a go-to with skirt steak, avocado, and a spicy creamy dressing. It's filling, healthy and satisfying. They've had some fun seasonal specials with fruit like peaches or strawberries and beets and goat cheese. For a reliable healthy lunch spot, be leaf is a great option.”
Hands down the best salads in the city! I order from Be Leaf for my office a few times a month and no one is ever disappointed. Super fast delivery via Postmates as well. Win win. Highly recommend!
